Chaos server

Chaos server is an add-on module to Chaos desktop and uses its interface to the user. The Chaos server gives you the easy way to manage your digital data flow in your project, whether you are two persons or 2 000 persons involved. You add the server features as version management, authorization levels, Internet server accessibility and logging.

For the user, the difference to work with Chaos desktop at home or in the office compared to work with Chaos server in a project is small. The user will have the checkout function on the right mouse click and two extra tabs for versions and logs. As an administrator you set up different groups for different accessibility to documents and drawings and you set up the connection configuration for different parties in the project. After that, you have a project server that handles huge amount of data and will help all users to access their data fast, safe and easy. Of course you still have all the functions that Chaos desktop has - document and project templates, strong search functions, program starts and batch processing, Chaos viewer that reads, converts, measures and prints several hundred documents, drawing and picture formats. Do you have users that more want to view documents and drawings instead of working with them? For them you offer Chaos Web publisher, it is connected to the server and documents that you want to publish on Internet is readable, and perhaps, downloadable from the web. Chaos server requires SQL server.
