News in Chaos desktop version 2.2
- In the Chaos desktop viewer you are able to view TOP-files without opening them in Topocad.
- You can convert TOP-drawings directly into vector files like AutoCAD DWG, DWF,
- Microstation DGN, HP-GL/2-filer (PLT) or PDF. It is also possible converting to raster format like PDF, TIFF, BMP, CALS, JPEG and more.
- Possibility to batch conversion, which means you can mark a number of TOP drawings and convert them all into another file format.
- Printing of TOP-files directly via the viewer to printer or to another format. This command can also run in batch mode.
- Configuration of Topocad from Chaos desktop, this configuration can be added to the project templates, which facilitates when creating new projects.
- The external references of Topocad become visible and editable in Chaos desktop.
Chaos desktop for Topocad users
Chaos desktop naturally becomes the document management system for the Topocad
user, as it contains several functions developed for CAD-users. The new integration makes it possible to view, convert and print the TOP-files in Chaos desktop, without even opening Topocad. You can add and configure Topocad projects directly in Chaos desktop and then use the project templates you have made in your next project. Transparent meta keys between Chaos desktop and Topocad gives you better control and simplifies the handle of quality. For example is it possible to access meta keys from drawings and update the drawing stamp from Chaos desktop.
